BUAN CARGO SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

 BUAN'S services you, as “shipper”, are agreeing on your behalf and on behalf of the receiver of the shipment (receiver) and anyone else with an interest in the shipment that these terms and conditions shall apply.

 

Shopping 

1. Clients can send their order via WhatsApp, D.M or Website

2. Upon confirmation of the order, an invoice is processed and sent back to you

3. Receipt of payment validates procurements of order

4. Clients should kindly note that it takes minimum of 3 working days to shop, clean, and package your shipments.

5. BUAN maybe able to arrange insurance covering  the value in respect of loss or of damage to the shipment, provided that the shipper so instructs BUAN in writing, including by completing the insurance section on the waybill or by BUAN'S automated systems and pays the applicable premium.

6. Shipment insurance does not cover indirect loss or damage, or loss or damage caused by delays.

However, the invalidity or unenforceability of any of this policy shall not affect any other part of these terms and conditions.

CARGO

1. We accept a minimum shipping of 5kg

2. We reserve the rights to inspect and check all goods for shipping

3. All goods for shipping must meet standard shipping policy

4. Extra packaging attracts additional fees

5. Withdrawal of processed shipment attracts a fine of #10,000 (flat rate) after 72hrs of drop off

6. Shipments will be processed after confirmation of full payment

7. We do not bear the responsibility of tampered goods or opened goods that occurred by government routine inspections at various borders

8. We do not have control for custom checks and Government routine inspections once goods are air lifted from Nigeria

9. We are not liable for airline delays, fines, seizure of goods, destruction of shipment by Government Authorities of any country as we do not interfere with the Government policy of any country

10. Clients should note that cargo charges include actual weight plus gross weight of shipment. Gross weight is valued at 3kg extra which is for packaging and palleting weight.

11. Always ensure that all foodstuffs are properly dried to international standard as we are not responsible for foodstuff that get rotten on transit (special attention to fish and other perishable)

12. Clients bear the charges of all airport pickup cargo

13. Clients bear the charges of custom clearance fees at the Port of delivery

14. Shipments that are not cleared within the stipulated time frame will attract demurrage/storage fees by the airline 

15. All shipments arrive at the Port of destination within 7 working days of shipping. Note that clients will be dully informed if there is a delay due to unforeseen circumstances

16. Please note we do not ship goods declared as prohibited goods by the country of destination. 

17. Customers requesting for special services like pickup from various commercial park or customers choice of location attracts pickup fees.

18. BUAN maybe able to arrange insurance covering the value in respect of loss or of damage to the Shipment, provided that the Shipper so instructs BUAN in writing including completing the insurance section on the front of the waybill or by BUAN’S automated systems and pays the applicable premium

19. Shipment insurance does not cover indirect loss or damage caused by delays.

 

However any dispute arising under or in any way connected with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject, for the benefit of BUAN, to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the court and governed by the Law of the country of origin of the Shipment and shipper irrevocably submits to such jurisdiction, unless contrary to applicable Law.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect any other part of these Terms and Conditions.

CARGO DOOR TO DOOR DELIVERY

1. A minimum weight of 5kg per shipment

2. All cargo going to European countries must be dully insured 

3. We reserve the right to use any courier company of our choice to process our door step delivery

4. Estimated time for delivery is within 10 working days, however we are not liable for any delay due to unforeseeable circumstances but once we encounter delays, we will communicate our clients.

5. Once goods are processed by our agent and handed over to the courier company, neither the company nor the agent is liable for any tampering of package by the said courier company or Government Authorities.

6. BUAN maybe able to arrange insurance covering the value in respect of loss or of damage to the shipment, provided that the shipper so instructs BUAN in writing, including completing the insurance section on the front of the waybill or by BUAN’S automated systems and pays the applicable premium.

 

Any dispute arising under or in any way connected with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject , for the benefit of BUAN, to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the court and governed by the Law of the country of origin of the shipment and Shipper irrevocably submits to such jurisdiction unless contrary to applicable Law.

However, the invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect any other part of these Terms and Conditions.

DOOR TO DOOR DHL EXPRESS: 

1. We are deliver to your door step within Nigeria and outside (worldwide)

2. Any package that do not fit into DHL custom sized envelope attracts an extra cost known

3. All food products processed by DHL attract #3000 phytosanitary certificate.

4. We do not track your DHL package your tracking number is been given to you once your goods are processed

5. We are not liable for packages that attract door step delivery tax charges.

6. You can request for a DHL insurance if you wish, service is available at 1% of total package value declared.

GROUP CARGO

1. We accept minimum weight of 5kg 

2. All goods must be lodged within 72hrs before shipping date

3. Kindly note that group cargo attracts Custom clearance charges

4. Shipping documents is only accessible to clearing agent and the company, however group cargo members will be updated with the progress of shipment up to the point of discharge. 

5. In case of missing item/items or goods, 21 working days is given for investigation and afterwards, if goods aren’t found, we will go ahead to pay compensation to the party involved.  This compensation will be 30% of total valued declared or claimed by the involved party. 

Any dispute arising under or in any way connected with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject for the benefit of BUAN, to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the court and governed by the Law of the country of origin of the shipment and Shipper irrevocably submits to such jurisdiction unless contrary to applicable Law.
